However,"Jeannie" (see picture below) is over ten feet taller.

Please tell me exactly where this snowman was constructed. I live in the Area and have not seen this one or the new Girl in the area.

ReplyDeleteThese pictures were sent to me by e-mail and this e-mail said that both "Angus" and Jeanne were built in Wappinger Falls, NY. I haven't personaly seen them but if you contacted the wappinger falls chamber of commerce,town hall, or probably any business in the town I'm sure that they would know as I understand this is not as big town so these snowmen are a "big deal". What a farce. I am very disappointed that someone had the bad taste to steal the credit for creating the giant snowmen. These smowmen/snowwomen were never actually in Wappinger Falls. I was all excited, I showed my kids the pictures from the email, and told them we were going to go see it this past weekend. Then I found out the terrible news when I went to find directions.
Again I have to say I'm very disappointed at the original author for such an abysmal ploy to dishearten young children.
