My parent's home in Connecticut is undergoing an "addadectome". The procedure although quite expensive was necessary as the previous deck was starting to rot and slope at an angle and generally unsafe. The contractors found a few boulders when digging to put in the support columns. May the old roof" rest in pieces" with its memories. This new deck is guaranteed for 40 years so when my parents are 124 years old they will have to replace the deck again I imagine.
