  1. Please tell me exactly where this snowman was constructed. I live in the Area and have not seen this one or the new Girl in the area.

  2. Hi,

These pictures were sent to me by e-mail and this e-mail said that both "Angus" and Jeanne were built in Wappinger Falls, NY. I haven't personaly seen them but if you contacted the wappinger falls chamber of commerce, town hall, or probably any business in the town I'm sure that they would know as I understand this is not as big town so these snowmen are a "big deal". Thanks for visiting my blog. RS

  3. What a farce. I am very disappointed that someone had the bad taste to steal the credit for creating the giant snowmen. These smowmen/snowwomen were never actually in Wappinger Falls. You can find out by looking up on the web or USA Today to find out they were both made in Bethel, MAINE. You can check out the details here: http://www.bethelmainesnowwoman.com/
The snowwoman wasn't even made this year. And Angus is from 1999!
I was all excited, I showed my kids the pictures from the email, and told them we were going to go see it this past weekend. Then I found out the terrible news when I went to find directions.
Again I have to say I'm very disappointed at the original author for such an abysmal ploy to dishearten young children.
